We are experiencing an "exceptional drought" in this area. Obviously, it is very dry. However, there are opportunities to find wildflowers, even during a drought. I went out late afternoon on Monday, May 31 (Memorial Day), and had great success finding a wide variety of wildflowers.

I will identify these at some point in the future.
